LHH is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Escondido, CA. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of accounting experience who is eager to grow in their career. Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close activities and light collections.
• Process high-volume invoices, including coding and batching.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts and set up new vendors.
• Prepare financial reports as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with account reconciliations.
• Support payroll processing and expense report tracking.
• Monitor and maintain accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform various administrative duties to support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of general accounting experience required.
• Experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
