Role: Mobile Device Deployment Technician
Duration: This contract has an expected duration through 2026
Location: Everett, WA
Job Site: North 8th and Logan Avenue North, Everett, Washington 98055
Pay rate: $20.24/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday
Need 2 technicians total for now (1st shift and 2nd shift).
- Hours of operation: 7am to 10pm (Monday - Friday)
- First shift: 7:00am 4:00pm
- Second shift: 1:00pm 10:00pm
Duties Will Include:
- Supporting mobile device operations, provisioning of smartphones, customer support incident resolution, and other support tasks
- Management of assets to include cataloging all smartphones in inventory and making sure they have the appropriate asset tag; and cataloging all assets and their assigned user.
- Training in proper use of smartphones. This may include one-on-one in-person, web-based training, and classroom settings.
- Providing first-level support of all mobile devices including taking help desk requests via phone, email, or IT service management tickets.
- Working with the installation of applications on Smart Phones and the subsequent security settings
Must-Haves:
An educational background in technology from one, or more, of the following sources:
- An associate's degree or higher in information technology
- Applicable IT certification (e.g.: CompTIA, Google IT certifications, etc.)
- Military training
- Personal or professional experience working with technology hands-on (preferred experience working with computer hardware and/or mobile devices)- be comfortable working on troubleshooting tasks
- A background of working in a front-facing environment with customers and end-users
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a team member while also being comfortable working independently as needed
- Be solutions oriented
- A desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally
Will need one of the below documents for "U.S. Person" verification:
- United States Passport or Passport Card
- Original or certified copy of U.S. birth certificate issued by a State, county, municipal authority, or territory of the U.S. bearing an official seal (Puerto Rican birth certificate issued on/after July 1, 2010)
- Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
- Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
- U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551) - Non-U.S. Passport with unexpired temporary I-551 Stamp
- Certification of Birth Abroad (Form FS-545), Certification of Report of Birth (Form DS-1350), or Consular Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-240) issued by the U.S. Department of State
- Form I-94/Form I-94A or other U.S. Government issued document indicating refugee or asylee status.
