Our client is a leading investment banking advisory firm specializing in strategic advisory services for clients in the Power, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors. They are seeking senior investment banking analysts with direct experience in the power and energy sectors to join their strong team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of energy markets and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services.
- Prepare comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and transaction documents for client meetings.
- Perform industry research and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the power and energy sector.
- Assist in the execution of live transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation processes.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop strategic recommendations and solutions.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and their impact on the energy sector.
- Support the development and implementation of renewable energy projects and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain and update databases of industry metrics, financial data, and transaction records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in investment banking, with a focus on the power and energy sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
