Director of International Operations Latin America

The Director of International Operations Latin America is a senior strategic leader responsible for the growth, operational excellence, and brand integrity of Orangetheory Fitness studios across the Latin America region. Reporting to executive leadership, this role acts as the key liaison between the Orangetheory Fitness corporate office and its Master Franchisees and studio operators in the region.

The Director leads regional expansion strategy, oversees execution of new market entries and studio openings, and partners with Franchisees to ensure consistent brand standards and optimized business performance. The role blends franchise operations, sales performance, financial oversight, and market development, while driving alignment with global organizational goals.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong cross-cultural leadership, exceptional operational acumen, and the ability to lead through influence across diverse stakeholders. The role requires fluency in Spanish and up to 80% travel throughout the region.

Purpose + Impact (Key Responsibilities):

• Serve as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor to all Master Franchisees and key operators across Latin America.
• Foster long-term, strategic partnerships that accelerate brand growth and reinforce global alignment.
• Proactively identify regional opportunities, risks, and business insights to inform executive decisions and initiatives.
• Navigate and mediate high-stakes issues with franchisees with tact, professionalism, and brand-first decision making.

• Own the operational performance of the LATAM region, including key KPIs such as member growth, studio profitability, and retention metrics.
• Drive operational consistency, excellence, and compliance across all studios, ensuring all franchise partners adhere to brand standards and systems.
• Develop scalable best practices and operational playbooks tailored to the LATAM market environment.
• Partner with Real Estate, Construction, and Brand teams to ensure on-time, on-brand execution of all new market entries.

• Lead strategic support of in-market sales execution and member acquisition efforts.
• Collaborate with Master Franchisees to adapt and execute corporate marketing strategies to local markets.
• Provide coaching and data-backed recommendations to drive topline growth.

• Analyze studio and regional performance through business intelligence dashboards, P&L reviews, and trend analysis.
• Translate insights into actionable strategies that support market-specific growth and turnaround opportunities.

Qualifications + Experience

• 6+ years of experience in international franchise operations, business development, or fitness/retail multi-unit leadership.
• 2+ years in a senior leadership role with direct oversight of field teams or franchise networks.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA or related) strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing and scaling business operations across multiple markets or countries.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with Orangetheory Fitness or a health and wellness brand.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership or franchise financial advisory experience.
• Experience leading new market entry or expansion within Latin America.
• Strong familiarity with LATAM business customs, regulations, and operational complexities.

Travel

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% across Latin America and occasionally to the U.S. corporate headquarters.
• You must have a valid passport and an eligible driver's license.
• Flexibility to work across time zones, weekends, and evenings, based on business demands.

Work Schedule

• Remote optional: Wednesdays and Fridays
