International Claimant Appointment Packet Specialist (Houston) Veterans Evaluation Services

Maximus is currently hiring for an International Claimant Appointment Packet Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Houston, TX. The International Claimant Appointment Packet Specialist (Int'l CAPS) is responsible for sending and printing veteran appointment letters and generating shipping labels to be sent out to veterans by mail.

Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Send Claimant Appointment Packets via email, FedEx, or USPS express mail.
• Respond to veteran/service member communication resulting from CAPS when appropriate.
• Inform the team and/or manager when veteran/service member communication requires their attention.
• Document and maintain detailed notes of communication and CAPS information in OMS.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow established guidelines on how documents are to be sent to veterans/service members.
• Monitor the international pending CAP list in OMS to ensure compliance is met for notification of exams.
• Other duties assigned.

This position is located on-site at 10910 W Sam Houston Pkwy N, Ste 900 B, Houston TX 77064. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity. Ability to work at this location is required. Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CT.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Transparency:

For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
