I am currently working with an AM LAW ranked firm, who are actively looking to hire an associate to join their growing Intellectual Property group in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage intellectual property litigation cases, from pre-litigation strategy to trial and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Provide legal counsel on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to build compelling legal strategies.
- Stay abreast of changes in intellectual property laws and industry trends.
- Assist in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
- 2+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney, with a strong track record in handling complex IP disputes.
- In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

- The base compensation range is $230k-280k
