The firm is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in insurance defense and civil litigation. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution, work closely with experienced trial attorneys, and gain hands-on courtroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters, including general liability, personal injury, property damage, and commercial litigation claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence.
• Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Develop and execute effective defense strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and senior attorneys.
• Stay up to date on California laws, court procedures, and industry trends relevant to insurance defense.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California State Bar (required).
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense or related civil litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of handling multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to professional growth.
