Instrument Test Tech

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Instrument Test Tech to join their team. As a Instrument Test Tech, you will be part of the production department supporting testing and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Instrument Test Tech

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (morning shift)

What's the Job?

• Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization.

• Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues with test equipment.

• Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failures.

• Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements to enhance product quality.

• Train associates on mechanical and testing activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• AA degree in mechatronics or relevant field with 0 years of experience, or 5 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or software systems.

• Proven support skills for testing moderately complex instruments.

• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach team members.

• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.

• Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting measurements, and basic math skills.
