Special Procedure Scope Technician

The Special Procedure Scope Technician is responsible for the cleaning, reprocessing, maintenance, and storage of specialized medical scopes, including but not limited to endoscopes, bronchoscopes, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) scopes. This position ensures adherence to all infection control protocols, manufacturer guidelines, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Details And Requirements

Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)

Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Education:

- High School Diploma or GED required

Certification & Licensures:

- BLS Certification.

Experience:

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in endoscope or specialized reprocessing required
