Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Information Security Manager in defining and steering the security strategy for the organization.
• Develop strategic Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for Network Security architecture and tools.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for security operations, including change management and business continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network security systems such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Lead complex projects and support ongoing network security operations.
• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats.
• Design, implement, and evaluate network security tools, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Evaluate and manage vulnerability and patching solutions across the network.
• Integrate and automate network security tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in defining network security requirements and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Participate in compliance efforts for standards like PCI DSS, SOX, and ISO 27001 focused on network infrastructure.
• Engage in incident response, especially for suspected network compromises.
• Perform related duties to support the broader information security function.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 and $149,000. The final salary will depend on location, skills, experience, and education. A performance-based bonus of up to 10% of the annual salary may be available.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Ten or more years in designing and implementing network security solutions.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various business units.

Technical Expertise:

• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet)
• DNS Security
• Deep packet inspection
• IDS/IPS platforms
• VPNs and Remote Access Security
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Network segmentation and forensic tools

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems in a network security context

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and customer service abilities are essential. Ideal candidates should be highly self-motivated and directed. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CEH, GIAC, and CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
