Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Join Our Team as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician!

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to perform essential maintenance and repair work on our mill equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting routine electrical and electronic preventative maintenance on various mill equipment.
• Repairing, modifying, and maintaining a wide range of electrical and electronic systems.
• Wiring circuits, replacing components, and troubleshooting electronic devices.
• Performing test readings with instruments such as multi-meters and Meggers.
• Staying updated on technical advancements by attending training sessions as needed.
• Working rotating shifts that include nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Adhering strictly to safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear and completing all mandatory training.
• Taking on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and experience with three-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with 480-volt power and logic circuits.
• Strong analytical and planning skills, along with proficiency in computer use.
• Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics independently.
• Familiarity with machine control systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electronic controllers and the signal paths within control circuits.
• Possessing a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be eligible to work legally in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to respond to emergency call-ins as needed.
• A team player who values collaboration and is eager to learn new skills.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.

Additional Skills That Will Make You Stand Out:

• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge or experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their application in troubleshooting.
