Industrial HVAC Technician

Location: Taylor, Texas

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with hands-on experience operating and maintaining HVAC systems in industrial or commercial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC equipment, piping, ductwork, dampers, valves, air movement, and exhaust systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pumps, filters, compressed air systems, air handling units, and related components.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks including system shutdowns, LOTO procedures, commissioning, and inspections.
• Conduct repairs and inspections in various environments, including rooftops, stairways, and outdoor areas.
• Safely work at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment (lanyards, harnesses, tie-offs).
• Communicate effectively with team members via two-way radio and mobile devices.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with fall protection and confined space procedures.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Refrigeration license or certification.
• Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom environments.
• Supervisory experience in electrical, construction, or industrial settings.

Work Environment

• Large warehouse setting with provided in-warehouse transportation.
• Physically active role requiring extended periods on foot.
• Work conditions may include exposure to dust and outdoor elements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.94/hr.
