Position Highlights:

* Physician-led, Patient-centered team-based care environment

* Patient Assessments, Formulating Care Plans, Finding Gaps in Care Delivery, Communicating and Teaching patients about personal Care Management

* Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health

Primary Responsibilities:

* Assist in various orthopedic sports medicine surgeries including but not limited to foot and ankle, hand, joint replacement, shoulder.

* Designation of time includes office hours, hospital rounding, and first assist in the operating room

* Flexibility to work at Newburgh, NY Middletown, NY and, Warwick, NY.

* Schedule is 4 days, 10 hour shifts with one late day per week to cover cases running over, one weekend call shift per month.

Required Qualifications:

* Unrestricted Physician Assistant licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process

* Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant program, Masters level preferred

* National Board Certification

* Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $166,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
