Job Description Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Execute physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform essential treatments and special tests, ensuring compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to effectively assess and identify patients' conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Deliver primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
- Administer prescribed medications and over-the-counter treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree).
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- At least 2-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of quality concepts and methodologies to support departmental and patient care improvement initiatives.
