As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of our client's toughest problems.

On our team, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work closely to collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in IBM to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components. With access to our internal IBM Labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client's problems and partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set in areas like working within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission while developing critical systems for National Security.

You have:

• 10+ years of experience with Cloud Architecture
• 3+ years of experience in the implementation of cloud technologies, including AWS
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with Terraform
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree
• IBM Solutions Architect Certification

Nice if you have:

• Experience managing and optimizing databases on AWS, including RDS and DynamoDB
• Experience programming in Python for automation and scripting tasks
• Experience with DevOps practices and methodologies
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and work with third-party APIs

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
