Your Impact

Accounting

• Lead project cost tracking, budgeting, and monthly billing
• Manage AR follow-ups and initiate collections
• Drive monthly/quarterly close processes and journal entry reviews
• Contribute to annual budget planning

Payroll

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll and quarterly reporting
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across payroll systems

Operations

• Support insurance renewals and vendor negotiations
• Collaborate with HR on labor law compliance
• Manage company registrations and annual surveys
• Administer ERP and payroll systems
• Maintain relationships with vendors, banks, and brokers
• Mentor junior accounting staff

Year-End Activities

• Lead year-end close and tax documentation
• Reconcile payroll, file 1099s/sales tax, and support R&D reporting
• Coordinate with external tax accountants

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

57 years of accounting experience (2+ years in a supervisory role)

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and project accounting

Experience in engineering or construction industries

Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Unanet or Deltek a plus)

Collaborative mindset and process improvement orientation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00/hr.
