Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a proactive 2nd shift Human Resources Specialist to support a wide range of people operations and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment efforts, from job postings to onboarding.
• Lead orientation sessions and coordinate employee training.
• Manage employee leave programs and benefits administration.
• Support employee relations, including investigations and performance documentation.
• Organize internal events and community outreach activities.
• Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and compliance reporting.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate workforce reports.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in human resources.
• Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility to support multiple shifts if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations, recruiting, HR systems, and payroll.
• Strong customer service and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and human resource management.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office/manufacturing environment, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM. The role requires flexibility to support additional shifts when needed. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
