Summary of Duties:
As the HR Generalist at Advantage SCI, you'll play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The selected candidate must be dependable and work a standard 40-hour work week at the office Monday through Friday. The HR Generalist is essential for smooth functioning of HR functions, employee satisfaction, compliance, and overall organizational success. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Recruitment, onboarding, and employee separations.
- Creating and posting job advertisements to attract candidates.
- Screening and reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to select suitable candidates.
- Ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Managing employee relations, resolving issues, responding to inquiries.
- Addressing employee grievances and mediating conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by all employees.
- Managing payroll processes as needed; ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
- Overseeing employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit programs.
- Ensuring that the organization complies with labor laws and regulations related to employment practices.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Filing Employment and HR related filings, meeting all associated deadlines.
- Assisting in maintaining performance management systems/processes.
Experience and Skills Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in an HR related field.
- 6 years of experience performing HR functions.
- Government contracting experience desired.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working Conditions:
- Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Noise level: Low to moderate.
