HR Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the global business services sector, is seeking a Specialist, New Joiner Experience to join their team. As a Specialist, New Joiner Experience, you will be part of the People & Culture department supporting onboarding, background checks, and employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: HR Specialist, New Joiner Experience
Location: Burbank, CA (On-site)
What's the Job?

• Support onboarding processes for new hires and hiring managers across the US and Canada
• Manage background check initiation and adjudication to ensure compliance
• Assist with I-9 attestations and pre-employment verification procedures
• Provide clear and timely communication to new employees throughout onboarding
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding workflows and improve candidate experience

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in HR operations or shared services
• Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and MS Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple demands effectively
