We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Bilingual Spanish HR Generalist to join our team in the construction industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage the human resources function in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration, labor relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Proficiency in MS Office, Sage, LMS, Smartsheet, and Spanish is required. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can efficiently handle the employee lifecycle from recruitment to termination.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and termination.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Conduct investigations into labor disputes and employee complaints.
• Develop and maintain the Employee Manual, checklists, and job descriptions.
• Administer leaves of absence (LOA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests.
• Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and conduct safety seminars.
• Coordinate virtual trainings and presentations for employees.
• Prepare regular reports on HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
• Facilitate positive employee relations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Handle any issues related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to handle any unexpected challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the construction industry.
• Solid knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Sage, LMS, and Smartsheet.
• Excellent command of Spanish language, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Experience conducting investigations and managing labor relations.
• Familiarity with FMLA, LOA, and ADA.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present them to management.
• Proven experience in managing the complete employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct virtual trainings and safety seminars.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
