Location Description The Sandman is an ideal launch pad for exploring Sonoma Wine Country. An affordable and inviting option among Santa Rosa, California hotels, Sandman is located just off US-101, mere minutes from the area's best wineries and breweries, dining, outdoor activities and downtown businesses. Channeling a tropical-meets-Californian-bohemian flare, the Pool House & Bar offers refreshing cocktails with an al fresco ambiance. Sandman's year-round heated pool and hot tub encourage lingering afternoons in the sunshine. Our spacious Backyard is complete with adirondack chairs, fire tables, a bocce court, and cornhole.

Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for guests. This position ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-presented, contributing to a memorable guest experience. Transform guest rooms into clean, welcoming retreats by meticulously cleaning and arranging every detail. Maintain sparkling public areas and back-of-house spaces, ensuring every corner of the hotel reflects our high standards. Anticipate guest needs by replenishing amenities and supplies, making each stay personalized and special. Perfect the little things from making beds with crisp linens to shining bathroom fixtures to leave a lasting impression. Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Promptly report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Address any guest requests or concerns with a positive attitude and a commitment to resolving issues quickly. Adapt to various tasks and shifts, showing your versatility and dedication to the team. Take ownership of your role and strive for excellence in every task, big or small.

Qualifications

A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but optional. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
