Hockey Goalie Coach

Morgan Park Sports Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Hockey Goalie Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in goaltending, a positive coaching style, and a commitment to developing goalies at all levelsfrom youth beginners to advanced competitive players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead on-ice goalie-specific training sessions (individual and group).
• Develop and implement goalie development plans for players across various age groups.
• Collaborate with team coaches to provide in-game and practice support for goalies.
• Provide video analysis and performance feedback to goalies and parents when applicable.
• Support goalie development during team practices, skills sessions, and clinics.
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and inclusive environment on and off the ice.
• Communicate with Goalies/Goalie Parents on progression, and scheduling.
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a hockey goalie (playing and/or coaching).
• Strong understanding of goalie fundamentals, techniques, and current training trends.
• USA Hockey coaching certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.
• Must pass a background check and adhere to all SafeSport guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience coaching at the youth, high school, AAA, or collegiate level.

Hours: Ability to work Saturday and Sunday for all youth, hockey classes, and camps, along with public skate.

Hourly Rate: $18.50
