Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) School-Based 1:1 Support
Location: Lake Elsinore or Temecula, CA
Pay: $34/hour
Schedule: Approximately 8:00 AM 3:00 PM (Part-Time, ~30 hours/week)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide 1:1 support for a student in a Special Education setting within a local school district. This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for LVNs who are passionate about working with children and making a difference in their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 medical support to a student with special needs throughout the school day.
- Monitor and manage the student's health status, including medication administration and emergency response.
- Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and parents to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of health services provided.
- Support the student during classroom activities, transitions, and transportation if needed.
- Ensure compliance with all school district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current California LVN license.
- CPR certification.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
