Asbestos Investigator Field & Compliance Focus (NYC)

Hiring an Investigator with 3+ years of experience to support a diverse portfolio of environmental compliance and inspection projects across New York City. This role offers a mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful work that supports public health, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental fieldwork and inspections across the five boroughs.
Assist in preparing project plans, evaluating data, and drafting reports under guidance.
Perform site reconnaissance, document reviews, and support regulatory compliance efforts.
Collaborate with project teams to meet contractual and regulatory deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field (preferred, not required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on compliance.
HAZWOPER certification required.
Experience writing ACP-5 forms.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and inspection protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

The benefits package includes medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

This is a fully onsite position in Long Island City, NY.
