Production Packer

The employee is responsible for moving, stacking, and getting materials within the production area. This role supports daily production and order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and palletize finished goods.
• Move materials to designated storage areas or pallets.
• Assist with packing and staging for shipment.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely and efficient operation.
• Down stack and wrap orders for shipment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as bending, squatting, and maneuvering packages.
• Basic math and inventory skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging, packing, and palletizing products from the line.
• Familiarity with production and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using a pallet jack.
• General labor experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.90/hr.
