Responsibilities

• Standards of Practice: Show proficiency in the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide high-quality care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Coordination of Care: Collaborate with the healthcare team and coordinate patient care transitions, delivering health education and promoting wellness.
• Professional Performance: Demonstrate ethical practice, effective communication, and leadership while continuously improving your knowledge and skills to advance patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is essential; a BSN is preferred. Newly hired RNs must obtain current BCLS certification within one month of hire.

Experience: Experience as a registered nurse is required, with the encouragement to advance through our clinical development programs.

Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is recommended.

Special Skills: Enthusiastic participation in clinical advancement is encouraged for all nurses.

Physical Demand: The role involves prolonged standing and walking, with exposure to various physical and emotional conditions. You should be prepared to assist with lifting patients and tasks that may require significant physical effort.
