Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and repairing medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience, diagnostic expertise, and a commitment to quality workmanship in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and services.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of diesel, automotive, or mechanical experience from another industry.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools along with mechanical and electrical tools for testing and repairs.
• Proficient understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Diesel or Automotive Engine Diagnostics and Repair.
• Welding - Stick or MIG for rebuilding underbody or frames.
• Electrical understanding for schematics.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of NA, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
