This role involves providing safe and efficient patient care services under the supervision and direction of licensed providers and nurses. The position will primarily focus on front office duties, including charting patients in a general practice clinic and updating patient billing information.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care services under the supervision of licensed providers and nurses.
• Perform various administrative duties in a healthcare setting.
• Focus on front office tasks, including patient charting and billing updates.
• Work collaboratively with specialty physicians in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency in taking vitals.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work setting.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clinic environment known for its fast-paced nature. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers great internal benefits once transitioned to a direct position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
