Healthcare Associate -Selby Jennings

Our client is an Elite Boutique Investment Bank in New York City, renowned for its deep sector expertise, high-touch client service, and consistent execution of complex M&A transactions. They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate (Associate I or II level) to join their Healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity to work almost exclusively on live M&A transactions, gaining unparalleled deal experience and exposure to senior bankers and clients from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of live M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
• Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps)
• Draft client presentations, management presentations, CIMs, and other marketing materials
• Conduct due diligence, coordinate with legal, accounting, and consulting advisors
• Mentor and manage analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient workflow
• Participate in client meetings and calls, contributing strategic insights and deal structuring ideas

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to healthcare services or M&A-heavy environments
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
