Job Details
Our client is leading global financial services firm known for its strong investment banking, capital markets, and advisory services. They are seeking an Investment Banking Analyst III to join its Healthcare Investment Banking Group, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience or academic background in biopharma or biotechnology. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transactions including M&A, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory for leading and emerging healthcare companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions within the healthcare sector.
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research, with a focus on biopharma and biotech.
- Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps).
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Assist in due diligence processes and transaction execution.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to deliver high-quality strategic advice.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of investment banking experience, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong academic background in life sciences, biotechnology, biopharma, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, MS, PhD) in relevant fields are a plus.
