M-F 8-hour schedule between 8 AM -5:30 PM including 30-minute lunch
Position Overview:

Controls the management of health care data and records containing information about symptoms, examinations, test results and reports, diagnoses, treatment plans, and treatment outcomes.
Creates health record indexes or storage and retrieval systems to collect, classify, store, and analyze patient information in hospitals, doctors' offices, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, outpatient care centers, or hospices.
Compiles, codes, indexes, checks, and analyzes permanent medical records of patients, and provides data for research or cost control and care improvement efforts, all in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system.
Keeps patients' medical records organized, computerized, and maintained; and ensures they are accurate and complete.
Knowledge of EPIC and experience EPIC release of information.
This position will be onsite, will be processing patient health information, as well as printing and mailing required documents. Role may include frequent standing.

Required Qualification:

3+ years' experience in similar role, experience using EPIC for release of information, and sufficient experience with Microsoft Office.

Required Education:

HS Diploma.
College preferred.
