In the role of Health Information Services (Coder), you will be responsible for abstracting, reviewing, auditing and the education of all coding and compliance processes, as they relate to CPT, HCPCS and ICD 10 and/or HCC activity. Responsible for submitting and responding to UHS corporate audits.

Education: High school diploma. Associate's degree from a vocational/technical school graduate preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of medical records clerk/health information technician experience, preferably in medical practice setting.

License/Certification:

• AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required
• Graduate of medical records program required
• RHIT preferred
