Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine to ensure successful sales operations.
- Implement product handling practices to ensure freshness and control costs by improving operational efficiency.
- Assist with store preparation for inventory counts and oversee delivery processes while addressing discrepancies with suppliers.
- Conduct effective recruitment, training, and development of team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Promote a productive work environment by creating and adjusting schedules to meet business needs.
- Communicate company standards and policies clearly to team members.
- Serve as a key holder and Manager on Duty as necessary.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within retail or hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Strong leadership skills complemented by an analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage physical demands such as lifting and transferring products in a safe manner.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
