Gm Controls Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a GM Controls Engineer to join their team. As a GM Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Controls Engineering department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Buffalo, New York

Pay Range: $45-50 per hour

What's the Job?

• Implement and troubleshoot Rockwell PLC systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Develop and modify SLC programming to support production needs.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to select and procure networking components for machinery.
• Write scope of work documentation for maintenance and installation of networking equipment.
• Update AutoCAD drawings to reflect IP address and network changes, or redline and submit updates.

What's Needed?

• Experience with Rockwell PLC systems and SLC programming.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and onsite work requirements.
• Ability to select and procure machine networking components.
• Knowledge of GM GCCS standards and networking protocols.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with higher-level IT systems.
