General Maintenance Technician

What this job involves: General Maintenance Technician position at our Greenwood, SC facility working 1st shift Monday-Friday, responsible for facility maintenance, regulatory compliance, and repairs in a distribution center environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:

• Managing workflows through the Corrigo CMMS platform
• Scheduling and completing preventative maintenance tasks and regulatory inspections
• Performing repair work or coordinating with qualified vendors
• Maintaining proper documentation for compliance
• Ordering necessary parts and equipment
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and parts
• Serving as a point of contact for service providers
• Following safety protocols and communicating with client personnel

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong internet navigation skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Schedule flexibility to adapt to client needs
• Availability for on-call requirements
• Commitment to following safety protocols
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe workplace
• Professional and timely customer service

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

• 2+ years' experience with commercial building systems in distribution environments
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (specifically Corrigo)
• Knowledge of fire and life safety equipment
• Experience with emergency power systems
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (low voltage, single & 3 phase)
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting abilities
• Dock equipment maintenance knowledge
• Building storage systems experience (High Bay racking)
• General repair skills in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry
• HVAC certifications (desirable but not required)
