Job Description:
We are seeking a Contractor GenAI Data Scientist to design and implement an end-to-end data and AI pipeline. The contractor will build robust workflows for ingesting data from CSV/Excel files into a database, create a generative AI pipeline to process and analyze the ingested data, and present results in an interactive dashboard for business and scientific stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a data scientist who has strong technical expertise in data engineering, NLP, and dashboard development, with a proven track record of applying Generative AI to real-world data problems.
Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Ingestion
- Design and implement an automated pipeline to ingest structured (CSV/Excel) data into a relational or cloud database (e.g., SQL, Databricks, Snowflake).
Generative AI Pipeline Development
- Build and fine-tune GenAI/NLP process and analyze ingested data.
- Design prompts, embeddings, and vector databases for efficient information retrieval.
Analytics & Visualization
- Develop an interactive dashboard (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit) to present GenAI-driven results, trends, and insights.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align pipeline outputs with organizational goals.
- Provide clear technical documentation for data pipelines, AI workflows, and dashboard use.

Experience:

Someone with more seniority, like 5+ years of experience with Generative AI Pipeline Development

Skills:

Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI).
Experience with data ingestion/ETL from CSV/Excel into relational or cloud databases.
Proven expertise in Generative AI/NLP (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face).
Experience in data visualization and dashboarding (Streamlit, Power BI, or Tableau).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Minimum BS is needed
