Furnace Operator
Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Furnace Operator to join their team. As a Furnace Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in challenging environments, and excellent teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Shift
1st shift - 6:00am-6:30pm 4 days on/4 days off
What's the Job?
- Operating and controlling furnace equipment to regulate temperature and pressure
- Monitoring and adjusting furnace settings to ensure optimal performance
- Feeding raw materials into the furnace and removing finished products
- Checking the quality of the melted material and finished products
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on furnace equipment
What's Needed?
- Prior experience working in a similar environment
- Ability to handle hot temperatures and work in a dirty environment
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong adherence to safety procedures and guidelines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
