We're looking for a founding engineer to shape the very first version of a next-generation social marketplace for AI products. You'll have the chance to architect and own the core experience-how users discover, test, and evaluate AI tools-while working side-by-side with the founding team.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver a polished, scalable frontend experience used daily by developers, PMs, and executives in the AI space.
- Architect and implement interactive testing environments where AI products can be compared in real time.
- Blend social and marketplace elements into a seamless, engaging product experience.
- Establish the design system that will serve as the foundation for scaling to hundreds of thousands of future AI products.
- Collaborate closely with product and leadership to translate loose ideas into high-quality, production-ready features.
- 2-5 years of experience in fullstack or frontend-heavy engineering roles, ideally in fast-paced startup environments.
- Deep proficiency in React Native (Expo, navigation frameworks, modern state management).
- Strong grasp of modern styling systems like Tailwind, Tamagui, or similar, with an eye for pixel-perfect UI.
- Comfort with profiling and performance optimization for a smooth UX on both mobile and web.
- Track record of taking ownership from concept through launch.
- Bonus: prior founder or founding engineer experience, or open-source contributions in the React Native ecosystem.
This is not just about building features-it's about defining the core experience of a new category . You'll have deep influence on technical decisions, product direction, and user experience, while working on challenges like:
- Modeling complex social dynamics in a digital environment.
- Designing intuitive workflows for comparing and evaluating AI products.
- Building infrastructure that can handle real-time interactions at scale.
