Full-Time/PRN Family Nurse Practitioner

ABOUT BAPTIST HEALTH URGENT CARE:
Baptist Health Urgent Care is a prominent affiliate of Urgent Team, comprising 23 locations across Arkansas. As one of the largest independent operators in the Southeast, we provide quality and accessible family healthcare at over 80 centers.

Our convenient walk-in centers offer a comprehensive range of services, including treatment for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Open seven days a week, we maintain hours of operation as follows: Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All centers are accredited by the Urgent Care Association, reflecting our commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. In collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while ensuring the highest standards of care. Full-time providers work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) positions are available based on need.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will:

• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and colleagues.
• Deliver friendly and efficient care to all visitors seeking healthcare services.
• Assume leadership during emergencies while providing comfort and reassurance to patients.
• Navigate a fast-paced and dynamic environment requiring adaptability and resilience.
• Conduct medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for various conditions, including primary care and urgent care.
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs and injections.
• Ensure an appropriate level of medical care for clinic patients.
• Oversee on-site laboratory and imaging services where applicable.
• Maintain clinical competence and stay updated with best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to uphold medical policies and standards.
• Engage in policy development to enhance medical practice, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in training programs for staff development.
• Identify opportunities for growth and enhancement of services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant licensing and accreditation standards.
• Represent the company and clinic at internal and external meetings as needed.
• Guide and mentor other medical staff to ensure quality services and patient satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply! Requirements include:

• State License as an APRN
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• DEA license or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification
