Job Description: Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Grants, NM, to find a Full-Time Operating Room Technician (OR Tech). This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in orthopedic and OB procedures, though candidates with other specialties may also be considered. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and organize the operating room for surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready.
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic and OB procedures by passing instruments and providing support as needed.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operating room before, during, and after surgeries.
Monitor and check equipment for functionality, reporting any issues to appropriate personnel.
Assist with patient positioning on the operating table and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Prepare, maintain, and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
Document procedures and patient information in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Adhere to safety guidelines and hospital policies for infection control, safety, and patient care.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure smooth surgical operations.
Participate in on-call rotation as required

Education & Certification Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) or equivalent preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Previous experience in an operating room setting, with a preference for orthopedic and OB experience.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
