This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated imaging team providing compassionate, high-quality diagnostic care to patients.
Position Overview
The Mammographer will be responsible for performing mammography procedures following established protocols and safety standards. This role plays a critical part in early detection and prevention, ensuring patients receive the best possible care in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with facility protocols and MQSA standards.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging results per facility policy.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain mammography equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements.
Participate in continuing education and quality assurance activities.

Education and Certification Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited radiology program meeting ARRT standards.
Successful completion of an approved MQSA training course with certification.
One (1) year of experience in the field of clinical radiology.
Current ARRT certification with (M) registry; must maintain ARRT Certification and continuing education requirements.
Current MRT and Mammography licenses in the State of Texas.
