Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will demonstrate your nursing knowledge and skills in a compassionate manner. You will assess residents, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, document care, and engage with both residents and their families to provide the best care possible.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
• Contribute to resident assessments and manage care plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
• Provide counseling and education to residents and their families regarding treatment and prevention.
• Participate actively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A degree from an accredited Practical Nurse program, with current licensure in the relevant state.
• Experience in long-term care, sub-acute care, or medical/surgical settings.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
