Location: Van Zandt County Detention Center

Open Position: LVN Nurse

Schedule: 3/4 12hr Day Shift Rotation; EVO Weekend (Flexible)

As a Correctional Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in delivering healthcare services within a correctional facility. You'll provide comprehensive nursing care, addressing both acute and chronic medical needs of our diverse population. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you'll ensure that medical protocols are followed, and patients receive appropriate treatment in a secure and supportive environment.

Conduct initial health assessments and screenings upon admission
Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols
Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and inplement individualized care plans
Monitor patient progress and update medical records accurately
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
