Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility, floating between various imaging and specialty practices in Nassau and some parts of Suffolk County.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures and processes to patients to ensure their comfort and understanding.
• Adjust imaging equipment and settings according to patient specifications and imaging requirements.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
• Perform both specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Process and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Prepare images for evaluation by the radiologist or requesting physician.
• Conduct routine maintenance and address minor repairs on radiologic equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED.
• License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
• ARRT certification or willingness to obtain it within 180 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience with Epic EMR software.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $23.22 to $45.43, based on various factors including education and experience. In addition to your salary, we offer comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k contributions, and more, which are subject to eligibility requirements.
