Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or medical professional, you will leverage your nursing knowledge to enhance the health and comfort of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conducting thorough assessments of residents' health status.
• Documenting interactions and care outcomes accurately.
• Assisting with technical support as needed to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborating effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Providing counsel to residents and families on treatment plans and prevention strategies.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Ideal candidates will possess the skills to recognize and respond effectively in emergent situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Preference for candidates with an Associate degree in practical nursing.
• If position requires IV therapy skills, completion of an approved program or course.
• A current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Completion of required continuing education units (CEU) and competency training.
