Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, test, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fire alarm system issues, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72 and other fire codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper system installation.
• Work closely with customers to provide outstanding service and ensure all systems meet local building and fire codes.
• Perform regular system inspections and preventative maintenance to keep alarms in working order.
• Complete and submit detailed reports on installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies.
• Travel to various job sites as needed, providing timely and reliable service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience installing fire alarm systems, including conduit, wiring, programming, servicing, and troubleshooting Silent Knight Basic, Silent Knight Farenhyt/IFP, Firelite, Notifier, & Potter systems.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm codes, regulations, and standards, including NFPA 72 and local building codes.
• NICET certifications (strongly preferred).
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical manuals related to fire alarm equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Full-Time Position
• Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime as needed
• Travel required to multiple job sites
