Position Overview: This role involves forecasting, expense monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- MBBP/Planning and Forecasting:
- Maintain project budgets.
- Assist in preparation of financial forecasts and update them regularly based on project progress and changes.
- Review & update Labor Utilization/Service for Plan, Forecast, and Actuals to correctly forecast and account for Beeline Contractors and actuals in POs, SOWs, and SLAs (if applicable)
- Financial Analysis:
- Monitor project expenditures and identify variances between actual and budgeted costs.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to project managers and senior management.
- Prepare Journal Entries for Projects (including JVs for cross charges).
- Reporting:
- Generate regular financial and variance reports for project stakeholders.
- Report Actuals and Forecast
- Project Monitoring / Monitors financial status of projects:
- Supports financial issues related to projects.
- Ensure necessary cost & benefit information for each project to make timely and accurate decisions.
- Meet with PMs to review any outstanding forecasts from previous months, verify that all tasks for month end close have been completed prior to month-end close, and request PM sign-offs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Support project teams in financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist PMs & Managers with the creation of Purchase Requests and PO amendments
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field helpful
- Knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Prophix, Excel, eContact).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Additional Information:
- What will the training schedule look like? In-person training with team member that is aware of procedures and responsibilities
- Will this position be fully onsite or hybrid? Hybrid, but most days in the office
- When is the start of the assignment? Start date ideally would be next weekor as soon as possible
