Facility:
This facility specializes in inpatient psychiatric care with two floors of 35 beds each. The center provides comprehensive mental health services with an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, offering a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare providers.

Primary Care PA-C or ARNP - Inpatient Psychiatry

Job Details:
• 0.6 FTE position (24 hours weekly) with a structured schedule: 4.8 hours per day on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 9.6 hours on Wednesday • Provider will cover one floor on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and two floors on Wednesday • Manageable patient volume of 4-6 patient encounters per shift • Perform routine H&Ps for all new admissions • Assess and manage medical conditions, including acute complaints and chronic illnesses • Complete Treatment Plan goals for medical care as part of an interdisciplinary team • Consult with psychiatric providers regarding co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions • Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate results of prescribed medications • Order and interpret laboratory tests as required for medical care • Provide substance withdrawal management as needed • Document medical care provided accurately and appropriately • Implement antimicrobial stewardship practices • Must have current Washington State ARNP/nursing license • Must have DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required • Experience with family practice, geriatric, and young adult populations • Preferred experience working with mentally ill populations • Familiarity with rules and regulations governing mental health treatment • Clean history may qualify for expedited privileges (90-120 days credentialing timeframe)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
