Urgent Team is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Nurse Practitioners to enhance our exceptional healthcare team. We offer both full-time and PRN positions!
ABOUT URGENT TEAM:
Urgent Team is a leading independent operator of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast, operating over 80 locations under eight brands. Our facilities provide quality and affordable family healthcare, including treatments for acute and chronic conditions, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week for your convenience.
ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Urgent Team, you will be pivotal in delivering outstanding medical care to patients of all ages. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while consistently ensuring the highest standards of care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Provide friendly and convenient patient care to everyone seeking health-related services.
- Lead and assist during emergencies while maintaining a comforting demeanor for patients.
- Conduct medical assessments, treatments, management, and follow-ups for various medical conditions.
- Perform essential medical procedures such as laceration repairs, pap tests, and injections.
- Maintain a medically appropriate level of care and oversee on-site laboratory services.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure operations meet medical policies and professional standards.
- Participate in the development of policies that affect medical practice and patient satisfaction.
- Assist in educational programs for staff and contribute to professional development initiatives.
- Represent Urgent Team at internal and external meetings or events as required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Experience as a Provider is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply! The ideal candidate should have:
- State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
- Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC.
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- DOT certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- BLS certification.
