A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine DNP for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in 2.5 hours from Anchorage, Alaska.

This position offers a flexible Monday through Thursday or Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week with shifts from 7 AM to 4 PM. There are no call or weekend requirements. The provider will manage a caseload of 812 patients per day, primarily focused on chronic care management. While a DEA license is preferred, it is not required. The role involves basic bread and butter procedures, with 24/7 phone support available. Providers will work alongside nursing staff and nurse supervisors and will never be alone on site. Credentialing is streamlined, with a quick turnaround time of just one week.
